What is faith? When is faith in action? And how do you apply faith? Hebrews chapter 11 unveiled the true meaning of faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, (Hebrews 11: 1). Now looking at that scripture, we see yet another word “hope”. In ordinary English, hope is an expectation so, in that verse, we can substitute hope for expectation. Therefore, faith is the substance of an expectation we have.  Looking deeper we can uncover that substance is a tangible material with specific characteristics, which then means that faith is the tangibility of our expectations. Even in their physical absence, with the eyes of faith we see them as though they are our reality. This is to say that faith is the higher dimension of reality. What makes faith real? Like God asked EVE, in Genesis chapter 3, HE is still asking you, “WHAT IS IT THAT YOU HAVE DONE?” With 1.        The bright future He gave you. 2.        Relationships He gave you? 3.        Money He gave you 4.        Grace and gifts He gave you 5.        The life He gave you God is still interested in you maximizing every opportunity He brings your way. WHO WILL JUDGE Who will be the judge in eternity? Who will decide the eternal destinies of all? Who is judging the dead now? Who will judge you after you transcend to eternity? According to the testimony of Jesus, He is the one who judges. He proclaimed in john 5 verse 22 that God does not judge anyone rather that all judgment has been handed over to Him. The world was formed by the word of God, and according to the gospel of John, the word of God is same as God. How do I know? What we say is always tied to who we are, so every time we read, hear or come in contact with God’s word, we are also directly in contact with God Himself. In another place, we see that “the word was made flesh”….. This implies that the word of God became embodied into Jesus Christ as a man. Thus, He has the fullness of God and the fullness of man all in one. THE FOUNDATION The most important part of a building is the foundation. A right foundation affects the overall nature and strength of the building. The making of a true Christian is never rushed and it starts with the laying of the foundation. The Christian life is founded on the principles outlined in Hebrews 6. These include: a)     Repentance of from dead works, which is repenting from old ways of living. Repentance is required in producing genuine salvation and transformation. Unless one is convicted of his sinfulness, acknowledges it, and then genuinely turns from them, eternal death is inevitable. b)     Faith in God is another essential principle required for building a strong Christian foundation.  Without faith, as we know, it is impossible to please God. Faith in God’s sovereignty above all things is required for one’s victorious Christian journey. Our salvation is made perfect through faith, because we are sure of the redemption of God to us through faith.

I am not really a fan of birthdays, I don’t like the dramas of ceremonies… Call me weird, I won’t mind…. But if I fail to appreciate your wishes, I will be unfair and ungrateful… Truly you made my heart tingle with excitement. Who are you? Who is man? In creation the Divine wisdom had a particular flow of creativity, however, during the making of man, there was a change of creative orientation. All other creations were CREATED but man was MADE. So God did not create man like other life forms, rather He made man. This is very important to note because the making of man followed a succinct, careful and detailed approach. Man happens to be Gods replica in existence. God reproduced Himself in man. There was an extra creativity involved in the making of the IMAGE and LIKENESS of Divinity (that is man). In Genesis, the creational pattern reveals that the making of man started spiritually. God first made man of the spirit, before man of the flesh (Gen. 1: 26). The spiritual man had no way to perform, fulfill and exercise his physical mandates even though he exists spiritually. THE RACE 3 (THE POWER OF ACTION) GO! At last the very word “GO!!!” this is the athlete’s favorite word because in all preparations, and alertness, he cannot start the race without the “GO” signal, he cannot start the race if the command has not been given. The ‘GO’ command ushers you into the most spectacular time of your life. This is ultimately  true because it is the set time for you to unveil all the secret preparations you put yourself through. The go season of your life is the season for maximum output and action. This time is the phase of your life for dynamics. At the ‘GO’ command the runner propels himself, asserts all his strength and puts all his days of preparation into use. At this point, distractions are not welcomed, all the focus of the runner is on the finish line, and every action is channeled to bring him closer to the  fulfillment  of the purpose of the run, and that is to win the race. So too in life, the ‘GO’ period of your life is very crucial.

THE RACE 2 #seedtract GET SET (the place of preparation.) In a race when everyone is on the block, the next instruction is “GET SET”. To get set means to be ready, to prepare, to be vigilant because the race is about to start. In life’s race, everyone needs to get set for the race . After discovering our life race block, the next line of action, is to get set for the race. There is a unique position for getting set. This very position gives the athlete the right view of the track ahead, the ability to have a good momentum to take off. With this ‘get set’ position, the athlete can concentrate on the race ahead, and speed up his or her movement without any interference from other runners. So too in life’s race, you must be at alert, prepared, have an apt vision, and an unwavering concentrations of the track ahead of you. When the race referee makes the first call for athletes to be on their block, he is calling them to take their place on the track. So too, in life, you must take your place in life for you to run. Body beauty is in every sense catchy, but unfortunately it is only skin deep. However, true beauty is purely spiritual. It is the purity of the spirit which affects the soundness of the mind and reflects on the body. To be beautiful is to be full of pureness of heart, soundness of the mind and elegance of the body.
