DYNAMICS OF FAITH

What is faith? When is faith in action? And how do you apply faith?
Hebrews chapter 11 unveiled the true meaning of faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, (Hebrews 11: 1). Now looking at that scripture, we see yet another word “hope”. In ordinary English, hope is an expectation so, in that verse, we can substitute hope for expectation. Therefore, faith is the substance of an expectation we have.

Looking deeper we can uncover that substance is a tangible material with specific characteristics, which then means that faith is the tangibility of our expectations. Even in their physical absence, with the eyes of faith we see them as though they are our reality. This is to say that faith is the higher dimension of reality.
What makes faith real? The reality of faith is in the truth that the spiritual creates the physical, that is to say, everything we hope for or expect is already in existence spiritually.
The unseen forms the seen, seeing with your spiritual eyes impresses the image in your soul (mind) which precipitates it in your physical realities. Like every spiritual force, it takes a spiritually alive entity to access it. That is to confirm the truth that “eyes have not seen, ears have not heard nor has it entered into the hearts of men………. But has been revealed to us by the spirit” So, faith is neither a sensual (the senses) matter nor mental stuff but wholly spiritual.
There are three dynamics of faith. With these in place in your life, impossibility is nothing.
a)    The belief: Faith starts with the sowing of the seed of belief in God which germinates into seedling of assurance of salvation in Jesus and the gospel of truth that grows to become a tree of confidence rooted in the Power of God and bears fruits of divine manifestations. (2nd Thessalonians 2:13).
b)    Obedience of faith: Romans 1:5 shows that faith demands an obedience. Faith works through actions in line with its principles. This where many Christians fail, they belief God but are not committed to doing the will of God. God demands an action towards every instruction He has given, not semi obedience but full obedience to His word.
A sage once said faith without work is fake and thus dead. Faith becomes unrealistic fantasy when steps are not made towards it.
c)     Sacrifice: True faith demands a measure of sacrifice. You must be willing to give something dear to you in your pursuit to faith actualization. The bible shows great men and women of faith who went extra miles to do the unthinkable by virtue of the sacrifices they were willing to pay. Sacrifice is always the seal to divine manifestation. True sacrifice establishes faith in the ultimate.
Faith works wonders! Belief God, do His instructions and do whatever it takes be it convenient or not.

But note sacrifice without full obedience is a sacrilege and can cost one His kingship. “Obedience is far better than sacrifice”, complete your obedience to the ordinance of God then seal it on the altar of sacrifice.
