Who is man?

In creation the Divine wisdom had a particular flow of creativity, however, during the making of man, there was a change of creative orientation. All other creations were CREATED but man was MADE.

So God did not create man like other life forms, rather He made man. This is very important to note because the making of man followed a succinct, careful and detailed approach. Man happens to be Gods replica in existence. God reproduced Himself in man. There was an extra creativity involved in the making of the IMAGE and LIKENESS of Divinity (that is man).

In Genesis, the creational pattern reveals that the making of man started spiritually. God first made man of the spirit, before man of the flesh (Gen. 1: 26). The spiritual man had no way to perform, fulfill and exercise his physical mandates even though he exists spiritually. Man had no means of physical manifestation, he was ultimately limited to what he can do in his disembodied form. Therefore, another form was created to house him. The maker crafted the physical body from dust to house man. This “man of dust” is the body with all of its cells, organs and systems. This clothe given to man of spirit is just humus and dust, it decays like any other created thing.

However, there was also a missing link between the spiritual man and the physical man. Even though the spiritual man has taken hold of the physical body, he cannot still reach out to fully control “it”. This prompted God to BREATH on the man of dust. This breath resulted in the transference of SOUL LIFE to man. “And man became a LIVING SOUL”.

All other animals and creatures had been living, but none was breathed upon by Divinity. This DIVINE BREATH on man equipped him with the intelligence, wisdom and insight of what he is created to do and be. He is now enabled to perform his divine assignment. The BREATH OF LIFE, is the SEAL on man’s authority over other creatures. In essence, God is a SPIRIT, and he created man a SPIRIT too but gave him (man) the SOUL LIFE through His DIVINE breath and clothed man with a fleshy body.

The most predominant function of the SOUL LIFE is the endowment of INTELLIGENCE. Without this, man is just another advanced animal. The soul is the seat of your emotions and intelligence. It is the bridge between your physical existence and your spiritual self. It is the point where conscience resides and information from the spiritual and physical are analyzed for decisions to be made.

Therefore man is a spirit. The physical and soul lives are aids for his manifestations.
