THE RACE 2 #seedtract GET SET (the place of preparation.) In a race when everyone is on the block, the next instruction is “GET SET”. To get set means to be ready, to prepare, to be vigilant because the race is about to start. In life’s race, everyone needs to get set for the race . After discovering our life race block, the next line of action, is to get set for the race. There is a unique position for getting set. This very position gives the athlete the right view of the track ahead, the ability to have a good momentum to take off. With this ‘get set’ position, the athlete can concentrate on the race ahead, and speed up his or her movement without any interference from other runners. So too in life’s race, you must be at alert, prepared, have an apt vision, and an unwavering concentrations of the track ahead of you. No matter how talented one is, if one is not prepared, it is evident that he/she will not start well and will not run well as well. In fact the ove

One the track, the athletes line up for the great race. The race official barks the instructions we all know 1.        On your blocks 2.        Get set 3.        Go! Life is truly a race, therefore, for you to run you must obey the instruction so the race referee. Your qualification on the track is defendant on your obedience of the instructions given. When the race referee makes the first call for athletes to be on their block, he is calling them to take their place on the track. So too, in life, you must take your place in life for you to run. Your race block in life likened to your calling in life. Your block is your special gifts, your block is your dreams, passion and lives purpose. Your race block is the place of your life’s purpose. You have a life race to run. You have many tracks in front to cover, there are medals and achievements to possess. You can never achieve them if you are not on your race block. TRUE BEAUTY Most of us are drawn to beauty We are captivated by the mirage of flashy appearance. However, there is more to what our eyes can see. Body beauty is in every sense catchy, but unfortunately it is only skin deep. However, true beauty is purely spiritual. It is the purity of the spirit which affects the soundness of the mind and reflects on the body. To be beautiful is to be full of pureness of heart, soundness of the mind and elegance of the body.
